Factoring Polynomials 

1) Rewrite in standard form.

2) Find GCF.

3) Difference of two squares.

4) Trinomial of the form ax^2 + bx + c

          if a=1, then find two numbers whose product is c and whose sum is b.

          if a<>1,

               check for a perfect square trinomial.

               attempt to factor using trial and error.

               use the discriminant to check for rational solutions.
